Charlie Reeder Early Career Professional

Introduction:

Charlie has recently graduated from Curtin University, having studied a Bachelor (Honours) of mechanical engineering degree. Charlie is an honest, passionate, and hardworking individual with a great work ethic and eagerness to learn.

Charlie has been working with CWG, gaining experience and exposure to a wide range of railway related projects. Charlie’s key roles within CWG include:
– Performing/supporting Systems Engineering and Safety Assurance tasks for Fortescue’s Infinity Train Project
– Performing/supporting safety assurance and project management tasks for Rio Tinto’s Collision Avoidance System Project
– Performing/supporting commissioning and quality assurance tasks for MetCONNX’s Byford Rail extension
– Performing/supporting maintenance review tasks for KiwiRail

Charlie works well with people and has been fortunate to work with the EPCM to support the delivery of the autonomous rail expansion and new rail spur for the Rio Tinto Gudai Darri mine. In addition to this, Charlie is extremely passionate about key miner’s decarbonisation program and drive towards reducing their carbon emissions.
