Matthew holds a Graduate Diploma in Building Fire Safety and Risk Engineering from Victoria University.  His journey into Fire Safety began while working as a Building Services Draftsperson, where he was given an opportunity to transition into Fire Safety Engineering by the WSP Fire Engineering Manager. Over five years, Matthew has gained substantial experience in Fire Safety Engineering and completed numerous courses in project management.

More recently in the last 4 years, Matthew has been working in Rail Safety Assurance at the PTA on the multi-disciplinary rail projects in the METRONET program.
