Tangara Technology Upgrade
The Tangara Technology Upgrade (TTU) aimed to improve customer experience, fleet reliability, obsolescence, and operational requirements of the Tangara fleet to extend their lifetime and bring them closer to the new infrastructure on the Sydney Train lines.
Scope :
CWG played an integral role in the program & project management of the TTU scope. To ensure the adequate contribution of the various parties into the TTU project, CWG was involved to strengthen the communication and stakeholders’ engagement throughout the project. The team maintained a high degree of discretion and professionalism throughout changes to project delivery and delays in scheduling, while simultaneously maintaining stakeholder relations. Key examples of our contributions include:
▪ Managing complex interface relationships mainly between TfNSW and Sydney Trains by providing effective stakeholder, configuration, and project management expertise
▪ Facilitating asset handover to Sydney Trains by providing O&M readiness workshops and train crew consultations
▪ Providing briefing notes pertaining to design changes for the project Steering Committee
▪ Developing business management plans and project management plans
▪ Obtaining 2 separate VMC Gold stars – one for collaborative works, and the other for financial detail analysi
