CWG team

Built on the quality of the people around you.

Since 2015, CWG Project Services has grown from a focused Australian consultancy into a trusted partner for some of the most technically demanding infrastructure programs across rail, mining, automation, space and defence.

Our team provides a diversity of experienced professionals — program and project managers, engineers, planners and policy advisors — with a proven track record of delivering complex infrastructure projects in Australia, New Zealand, the UK, Europe, Middle East, Asia and the USA.

We work as part of integrated teams, sitting alongside clients and other consultancies to deliver outcomes that meet safety obligations, regulatory requirements and program objectives.

Founded 2015 · Sydney

Ten years of delivering complex, safety-critical programs.

Daniel Gallimore founded CWG Project Services in Sydney with a clear conviction: that the quality of the people around you determines the quality of the work you deliver. From our beginnings in rail systems engineering, we have expanded into mining automation, space, defence and emerging technology — always led by the same principle.

New Zealand · Est. June 2023

Growing by doing the work well first.

In June 2023, CWG opened its Auckland office — our first presence outside Australia. Led by General Manager John MacIver, the NZ team has steadily grown by delivering on small contracts first, earning trust, and building a reputation that speaks for itself. Wellington followed. The model is proof of how CWG grows.

What makes us different.

We don't just provide consultants — we work as part of your team, with government-recognised credentials and a track record of delivering firsts.

Embedded in your team

We work alongside the client and other consultancies as integrated team members, not external advisors sending reports from the sideline.

Government-recognised accreditations

Our consultants hold accreditations that procurement teams look for — TAO, CPEng, CSEP, PMP — not just industry experience.

A track record of delivering firsts

Including the first Virtual Block safety case for a heavy haul railway and ministerial approvals for Australia's first AV trials on public roads.

Multicultural, global experience

A diverse team spanning early-career professionals to directors with experience across Australia, NZ, UK, Europe, Middle East, Asia and the USA.

We grow by doing the work well

Our Auckland office opened on a small contract and grew through reputation. That disciplined approach applies to every engagement we take on.

Proven on major programs

Tier-1 clients including Rio Tinto, BHP, Fortescue, Transport for NSW, KiwiRail and Alstom trust us on their most complex programs.

Defence Capability

Safety-critical expertise that translates directly to defence.

CWG's expertise in safety-critical systems and complex program delivery translates naturally into the defence sector. Our consultants — including NV1-cleared personnel — are experienced in applying rigorous engineering and assurance processes to programs where the consequences of failure are unacceptable.
