A selection of the infrastructure, mining, automation and emerging technology programs CWG has supported across Australia and New Zealand.
World First
CWG worked with Alstom and BHP to prepare the Safety Case for the first Virtual Block signalling system on a heavy haul railway — a world first in heavy haul signalling technology.
CWG supported the development of a structured safety and systems engineering framework for zero-emission rail technology in one of the world's most complex heavy-haul railway environments, including direct ONRSR engagement.
PMO establishment, business case development and program delivery lead for Stage 1. CWG also provided ETCS L1 systems assurance support across multiple areas of the Greater Sydney network.
Australian First
Project management and systems assurance lead for Australia's first autonomous vehicle trials on public roads. CWG secured ministerial approvals for the program.

Engineering, Design and Assurance Management across the Western Sydney Airport and Central Station components of the Sydney Metro program.
SSMP, ONRSR Interface Plan, Bow Ties, Hazard Log, Hazard Transfer Process, Audit Plan, ISA Brief and Human Factor Integration Plan for BEL integration program.
Three-phase study covering TCAS & DSAS — including vendor evaluation, technology roadmap development and detailed solution assessment for Fortescue's heavy haul operations.
Systems Engineering review of maintenance documentation against international best practice standards. CWG's NZ team also delivered the Metro Intervention Guide for KiwiRail.
